Maple Sweet Potato Purée

Writer's picture: J.R.J.R.

This recipe is originally from Martha Stewart. While her recipe was great, I tweaked the amounts and my guests and I loved the added flavor! This was one of the biggest hits of our Thanksgiving table this year, our first year hosting!

This simple recipe boasts just four ingredients and is sure to impress everyone at your next gathering.

Ingredients:

4-6 sweet potatoes, peeled & cut into 1" chunks

1/2 cup maple syrup

4 tbsp. butter, unsalted

FIRST: Boil the potatoes until fork-tender.

THEN: Add half potatoes, half syrup and half of the butter into a blender or food processor. Then gradually add remaining ingredients. Serve hot.
