Want to add a little pizazz to green beans? Just add almond slices! We often use pine nuts, too. Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with foil.
Ingredients (serves 4):
12 oz. trimmed green beans
2 tsp. - 1 tbsp. olive, sesame, or vegetable oil
1/2-2/3 cup sliced almonds
salt and pepper, to taste
Toss the green beans and other ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Spread them out on the baking sheet and cook 25-40 minutes, or until tenderness desired achieved.
